Day 1: |
Arrive at Bole
International Airport in Addis Ababa and transfer to Ras hotel for
over night. |

Day 2: |
Addis - Gondar:
in the morning transfer to the air port and fly to Gonder. After
check in to the hotel visit Gonder; the 17th C Capital of Ethiopia,
in Gondar you will visit the palace compound of Gonderian kings, the
swimming pool of Emperor Fasil, and Debre Brehan Silasie Church
which is rich in icon paintings. Overnight Lammergeyer hotel in
Gondar. |

Day 3:

Gondar –
Sankaber: early in the morning drive to Sankaber on the way enjoy
the beautiful land escape of the Simen Mountains National Park. And
start trekking from Sankaber to Gich on your way you will see
different kinds of plant species and animals such as Gelada Baboon.

Day 4: |
Trek from Gech
through the very beautiful scenery of Semien Mountain to Chenek;
overnight camping at Chenek |

Day 5:
|
Trek Chenek –
Ambiquo via Buahit; on the way you will see the endemic Walya Ibex
overnight camping at Ambiquo. |
|
|
|
Day 6:
|
Trek from
Ambiquo to Ras Dashen which is the heights mountain in Ethiopia
measures about 4620 Meters above sea level and continue trakking to
Ambiquo. Overnight camping at Ambiquo. |

|
Day 7:
|
Early in the
morning start trekking from Ambiquo to Sona. Overnight camping at
Sona. |
|
|
|
Day 8:
|
Trek Sona –
Mekarebia. Overnight camping at Mekarebia. |
|
|
|
Day 9:
|
Trek Mekarebia –
Mulit. Overnight camping at Mulit. |
|
|
|
Day 10: |
Trek Mulit – Adi
Arkay and drive to Axum. Overnight Ramhay hotel . |
|
|
|
Day 10: |
Fly back to
Addis and half day city tour of Addis that includes the Trinity
Cathedral, the National Museum and Mount Entoto. Evening transfer to
the air port and fly back to home. |
